I was reading a while back and read that most diets work. There is a catch however, it depends on how long they are used. Makes sense! The article also said successful people usually have some kind of daily ritual they follow to keep on track.
As I thought about that I think it is true because I was using my focus journal before Christmas. Everything was going great, then Christmas break (I work at a school) hit and I had a ton of things to do and I quit spending time in my focus journal, which led to getting sloppy in fixing my healthy meals. I also quit recording what I was eating. Before long, I was enjoying all the Christmas treats and I was on the road to another setback.
I realize now just how important something to keep me focused is. I really think I’ve known all along because I spent hours making and filling out the pages in my focus journal.
So I am excited to share all my hard work with you. Below is an overview of what the different pages in my focus journal are all about.
